Free Weekly Running Groups:

Group Runs:
-Wednesdays at 6:15pm
(3 to 6 mile run)
-Saturdays at 8:00am
(3 to 10+ mile run)
-Meet at West Seattle Runner

Our bi-weekly group runs focus on building healthy base mileage and getting runners incorporated into the local running community. You run at your own pace, and we can provide you with a route for your desired mileage that starts and ends at the shop. While it is not required to run with others, it is easy to find a group/buddy doing a similar run to your own. A great way to stay accountable for your weekly mileage!

Track Night:
-Tuesdays at 6:15pm
-Meet at West Seattle Runner
before shifting to Hiawatha Track

Our track group is focused on building speed, strength, form and fortitude. Each week you will receive a planned track workout with a coach available to help guide and encourage you. Looking to bring down your mile time? Chasing down that new personal record? This might be the group for you!

Seapines PT Injury Prevention Clinic

Seapines Physical Therapy will be at the shop to educate us about the proper tactics to prevent injury for runners. This is designed for Get Fit but applies to all runners who are training/running but don't know what to do for core strength, stretching etc. You will learn what habits to put into place and can get any questions answered!

If you are doing Get Fit mileage that night, you can get started at our typical 6:15pm. If you are doing one of the other training plan distances, you might get started earlier and just meet at the shop for the 6:45pm clinic.

Pelvic Floor Health Presentation For Female Athletes

Spring Tune-up of your Pelvic Floor presented by Sherryl DeVries, MSPT

In this talk, Sherryl, a trusted Physical Therapist with over 20 years of experience and advanced training in pelvic health for women, men, and children will educate and discuss ways to bring awareness to pelvic floor health as we move as active women. Sherryl is excellent at educating on anatomy and as a dancer brings a passion for women in their sport. She addresses these topics in an accessible way and you will leave with tools to implement now, to help with a healthy future.

Sherryl will address what the pelvic floor is responsible for, what happens when there is dysfunction, how a pelvic floor therapist can help and go over exercises.

We will serve wine and lacroix and raffle off a sports bra!
