Free Weekly Running Groups:

Group Runs:
-Wednesdays at 6:15pm
(3 to 6 mile run)
-Saturdays at 8:00am
(3 to 10+ mile run)
-Meet at West Seattle Runner

Our bi-weekly group runs focus on building healthy base mileage and getting runners incorporated into the local running community. You run at your own pace, and we can provide you with a route for your desired mileage that starts and ends at the shop. While it is not required to run with others, it is easy to find a group/buddy doing a similar run to your own. A great way to stay accountable for your weekly mileage!

Track Night:
-Tuesdays at 6:15pm
-Meet at West Seattle Runner
before shifting to Hiawatha Track

Our track group is focused on building speed, strength, form and fortitude. Each week you will receive a planned track workout with a coach available to help guide and encourage you. Looking to bring down your mile time? Chasing down that new personal record? This might be the group for you!

Join the Seattle Strength & Performance team as they come down from their location on Avalon Way to West Seattle Runner to talk about the benefits of strength training for runners! They plan to walk through some of the key benefits and target areas to focus on to improve both speed and endurance and reduce injury. They'll also coach us through some key exercises to take away!

Brooks Group Run

We are adding a Sunday Group Run for our special 15th anniversary weekend. This has been a fun tradition for the last many, many years, we add a Sunday run at a later hour for all the sleeper inners. You can run in a pair of Brooks! The warm up will be led by Seattle Sports and Performance. Yes you are supposed to warm up for a run. And for a leisurely Sunday, it is a perfect way to get it started. Post Run you can enjoy mimosas or sparkling cider back at the shop. Hawthorne Massage will be in shop to do chair massage from 11-1.
